Description
Lightning Jack Kane is an Australian outlaw in the wild west. During a bungled bank robbery he picks up mute Ben Doyle as a hostage. The two become good friends, with Jack teaching Ben how to rob banks, while they plan Jack’s last heist.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT DON KNOTTS
Every bit as good as some of the Knotts movies or any western comedyvc. In fact, I actually like the humor in this better than “Shakiest Gun In The West”. Knotts’ characters are complete idiots. Hogan is an incomplete idiot. LOL. // All seriousness aside, this movie is very well done. Hogan is Hogan. Cuba is delightful. And who doesn’t LOVE Beverly D’Angelo? // The Bushwacker 9/26/2021.

This is a 1980s lighly violent but more comedic western starring Paul Hogan (crocodile dundee) as an outlaw named Lightning Jack. After a robbery gone wrong that results in the death of his gang, followed by not being taken seriously as an outlaw Jack decides to rob a bank himself. He is eventually befriended then joined by a man whose born a mute, played by Cuba Gooding Jr in one of my personal favorite roles since he’s still incredibly funny in this movie despite his silence. Together they plan to rob a bank, hopefully raise their notoriety and if they’re lucky make it out before the law catches up.
